1. About Buildcostr.ai
Buildcostr.ai is a trading name of Urban Developments Essex Ltd. Registered address: Ground Floor, Swift House, 18 Hoffmanns Way, Chelmsford, CM1 1GU. By using Buildcostr.ai you agree to these terms.
2. The service
Buildcostr.ai provides AI-powered construction cost plans for residential projects in the UK. Reports are delivered digitally by email within 30 minutes of confirmed payment.
3. Important disclaimer — estimates only
All cost plans produced by Buildcostr.ai are indicative estimates only. They are intended as pre-contract cost planning guides and do not constitute:
- — A formal bill of quantities
- — A guaranteed contract sum
- — Professional quantity surveying advice
- — A substitute for a qualified QS report
All figures should be independently verified by a qualified quantity surveyor or estimator before entering into any contractual commitment.
Buildcostr.ai accepts no liability for any financial loss arising from reliance on figures contained in any cost plan produced by this service.
4. Payment terms
- All prices shown include VAT where applicable
- Payment is processed securely by Stripe
- Orders are confirmed upon successful payment
- Reports are delivered within 30 minutes of payment confirmation
5. Refund policy
- If you are not satisfied with your cost plan for any reason we will provide a full refund
- Refund requests must be made within 14 days of purchase
- To request a refund email: estimates@buildcostr.ai
- Refunds are processed within 5-10 business days
6. Intellectual property
- All cost plans produced by Buildcostr.ai are for your personal or business use
- You may not resell or redistribute cost plans produced by this service
- The Buildcostr.ai platform, brand and methodology remain the intellectual property of Urban Developments Essex Ltd
7. Uploaded drawings
- By uploading drawings you confirm you have the right to share them
- Uploaded drawings are stored securely and used only to generate your cost plan
- Drawings are deleted after 90 days
- We do not share your drawings with any third parties
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Urban Developments Essex Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from use of the Buildcostr.ai service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the report in question.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
10. Changes to terms
We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
