Why We Built Buildcostr.ai

We built Buildcostr.ai because we saw this problem up close. We worked with builders who were quoting jobs from instinct rather than data. We spoke to homeowners who had no way to know if they were being quoted fairly. We saw architects who had no quick answer when clients asked the most basic question.

We believed AI could change this. Not general AI — a purpose-built estimation engine trained specifically on UK construction methodology, NRM2 measurement rules and real regional pricing data. The same intelligence a chartered QS uses, made available to everyone.
